Share a call

Give a colleague or an outside guest access to one call, by invitation or by link.

Sharing works one call at a time. You choose who gets in and how much they can do, and you can take it away again at any point.

Open the share dialog

Open a call and press Share. Only the owner of a call sees this button — someone a call was shared with cannot pass it on.

Invite people from your workspace

Search for a colleague by name or email and choose what they get:

  • Can view — the call details, summary, transcript and playback.
  • Can edit — the same, plus the ability to change the summary and work the call's actions.

Neither level can re-share the call or download the audio. To change someone's level, invite them again with the other one. Remove access takes it away.

Underneath, the same dialog controls a link to the call. There are four settings:

  • Link is off — no link works. This is where a call starts.
  • Only invited people — the link opens the call only for people you have already invited. Useful for sending a shortcut to someone who already has access.
  • Anyone in your workspace — anyone signed in to your workspace who has the link can view the call.
  • Anyone with the link — anyone at all who has the link can view it, signed in or not. Treat this like a public URL.

Copy link puts the link on your clipboard. Reset link issues a new one and stops every copy of the old link working — the thing to do if a link has gone somewhere you did not intend.

Invite a guest outside your workspace

Type an outside email address under Invite guests outside your workspace. That person gets a personal email link. Guests can only view — they see the summary, the transcript and can play the recording, and nothing else.

You can see whether a guest has opened their invitation yet, and remove them again at any time. Turning the share link off also cuts guest access.

Sharing with the people on the invite

If your workspace admin has turned it on, a call can be shared automatically with the colleagues who were on the calendar invite, as soon as it is saved. This only ever covers people from your own company who already have an ActiveLens account, and it never overrides sharing you set by hand.

Taking access away

  • Remove access next to a person removes that one person.
  • Reset link invalidates every link that is in circulation. People you invited individually keep their access.
  • Setting the link back to Link is off closes the link route entirely, guests included.
